About the Job

At Amergis, we are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a vital member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing exceptional speech and language therapy services to students in a school setting.

Job Summary

This is a $60,000 - $80,000 per year full-time position that requires a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of assignment and a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to work collaboratively with a variety of groups and individuals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess students' communication skills to identify potential disorders and develop treatment plans.
  • Provide speech and language therapy to students to minimize the impact of communication disorders on student success.
  • Maintain accurate records and files, including progress reports, activity logs, and billing information.
  • Participate in meetings, workshops, and seminars to stay up-to-date on industry best practices.
Requirements
  • A minimum of an SLP license in the state of assignment.
  • A Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer proficiency and experience with relevant software.
