About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Interventional Technologist to join our team at Providence Tarzana Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians during angiography and other related procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Monitor radiation safety during procedures, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care, addressing medical needs and concerns.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest medical technologies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Completion of a Radiography Program.
  • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Within 1 year of hire, obtain National Registered Technologist certification in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography, Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography, or Vascular-Interventional Radiography.
  • Within 30 days of hire, obtain a California Fire and Life Safety Card.
  • 1 year of diagnostic radiology experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced training as a Special Procedure Technologist.
  • Provider ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • 1 year of Cath Lab or Special Procedure experience.
