MRI Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated MRI Tech Aide to join our team at RadNet. As a key member of our radiology team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety in our MRI suites.

• Assist MRI Technologists in providing optimal MRI safety and patient care.
• Convey patient history to MRI Technologists for accurate MRI safety and assist with coil positioning, patient screening, and observation during exams.
• Support technologists with procedures as needed, including setup of coils, schedule maintenance, and cleanup of MRI suites.
• Demonstrate competency in safeguarding patient property and patient health information.
• Safeguard on-site medications in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate respect for company property and patient financial information.
• Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in a medical setting.
• Completion of an approved MR Technologist Assistant program, including hands-on clinical training.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, public relations, and verbal and written communication.
• Ability to assist in lifting patients onto the table.
