We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated MRI Tech Aide to join our team at RadNet. As a key member of our radiology team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety in our MRI suites.
Key Responsibilities- Assist MRI Technologists in providing optimal MRI safety and patient care.
- Convey patient history to MRI Technologists for accurate MRI safety and assist with coil positioning, patient screening, and observation during exams.
- Support technologists with procedures as needed, including setup of coils, schedule maintenance, and cleanup of MRI suites.
- Demonstrate competency in safeguarding patient property and patient health information.
- Safeguard on-site medications in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate respect for company property and patient financial information.
- Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience in a medical setting.
- Completion of an approved MR Technologist Assistant program, including hands-on clinical training.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, public relations, and verbal and written communication.
- Ability to assist in lifting patients onto the table.
