HealthDrive is seeking a full-time Optometrist to provide general optometry services to residents of nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and long-term care facilities within an assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat refractive disorders.
- Diagnose and treat ocular disorders caused by age-related illnesses.
- Examine, diagnose, treat, and manage diseases, injuries, and disorders of the visual system, the eye, and associated structures.
- Identify related systemic conditions affecting the eye.
- Enter patient information and complete required clinical documentation in our cutting-edge EMR system.
- Perform daily travel to skilled nursing facilities for mobile model treatment of patients.
Requirements:
- Doctorate of Optometry (O.D.)
- State professional license
- Valid driver's license
- TPA certification
- Ability to work independently on a daily basis
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to use email, the internet, and learn other healthcare-related software
