Work Arrangement: Per Diem/As Needed/PRN (Minimum FTE 0.1)

Location: Berwyn, IL

Position Responsibilities

In this capacity, the Radiologic Imaging Specialist will execute diagnostic imaging tasks at a technical level that does not necessitate supervision of technical details. This role involves performing technical procedures that require independent judgment, creativity, and innovation to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnostic imaging.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree
  • Specific Degree(s): AAS in Radiologic Technology
  • Less than one year of relevant experience

Licensure and Certifications

Mandatory:

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Illinois Emergency Management Agency Certification (IEMA)
  • CPR Certification from the American Heart Association
  • Registered Radiographic Technologist
  • Note: For candidates certified by ARRT prior to 2015, an associate degree is not required. For those certified thereafter or who are not certified, an associate degree is necessary due to changes in ARRT's Certification Requirements.
  • New Graduates: Must obtain ARRT certification within three months of hire.
