Job Title: Director of Cardiovascular Services

Northwest Talent Solutions LLC is a leading staffing and consulting firm partnering with top clients in the private industry and public sector. We are currently working with a preferred client in Sanford, NC to find a highly skilled Director of Cardiovascular Services.

Job Summary:

The Director of Cardiovascular Services is responsible for overseeing the operations of the Cardiovascular Service line, including the Cath Lab, Endoscopy, Vascular, and Cardiac Rehabilitation departments. This role requires strong leadership and management skills to ensure efficient patient throughput, maintain safe staffing levels, and manage supplies and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement department budgets
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
  • Manage personnel resources and productivity
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives
  • Invest in staff professional development
  • Communicate with the CNO and Administrative Team
  • Manage patient quality, safety, and performance improvement efforts
  • Ensure regulatory compliance
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
  • 3-5 years supervisory experience in Cardiac Cath lab setting
  • 5+ years training, education, and/or experience as Cardiac Cath Lab RN
  • Leadership experience managing teams, policies, and processes
  • Registered Nurse in North Carolina or compact state
  • BLS within 30 days and ACLS within 90 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of cardiovascular services and procedures
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Proficiency in budget development and management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to drive quality improvement and performance excellence
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in healthcare
