KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Designs and executes service plans with measurable objectives based on clinical evaluations. Delivers individual, couple, family, and group therapy tailored to treatment requirements, including outreach services (with home visits as the primary mode of service delivery). Provides family life education and advocacy as necessary. Utilizes a diverse range of diagnostic and therapeutic skills and techniques judiciously. May occasionally provide transportation for families. Completes essential administrative tasks related to caseload management, including correspondence, reports, dictation, and case record maintenance. Allocates at least 60% of available time to direct service delivery. Engages in regular supervision to enhance performance and ensure service excellence. Represents the program in community organizations.

Coordinates and collaborates with public and private agencies to prevent service duplication. Facilitates and documents interdisciplinary team meetings. Manages cases and coordinates services in conjunction with referring social workers. Completes agency-wide data administrative tasks, such as daily and monthly activity reports, promptly. Maintains participant confidentiality at all times. Performs other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATIONAL AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

  • Master's Degree from an accredited institution recognized by a reputable accrediting body. Requires advanced knowledge.

(Specify): Master's degree in Social Work or a related Human Services field from an accredited institution. A minimum of one year or 1000 hours of experience treating violent offenders, substance abusers, or individuals involved in domestic violence or child abuse. Experience in family violence, victimology, and working with child abuse/neglect cases is preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including therapeutic assessment and treatment, interviewing, documentation, and report writing. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. A valid driver's license, clean driving record, current no-fault insurance, and access to an insured vehicle are required.

EXPERIENCE: Over one year, up to two years.

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Knowledge in mental health, evidence-based and best practice therapeutic modalities such as Trauma-Informed Care. Familiarity with victimology, sexual therapy, human sexuality, and treatment for sex offenders. Ability to advocate for case needs to social services and make community referrals as necessary for additional needs such as substance abuse, serious mental health issues, anger management, or further assessments.

OTHER POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • This position requires a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the use of a personal vehicle for participant transportation as needed, along with a willingness to travel as required.
  • This position is subject to a criminal background check, and continued employment is contingent upon a clear record.
  • Continued employment in this role is contingent upon successful completion of CPR, CPI, and/or van driving training as necessary to perform essential job functions.
  • Continued employment in this role is contingent upon successful completion of CPI classes or other Behavioral Management certification as mandated by contracts.
  • Continued employment in this role is contingent upon successful completion of First Aid training.
