Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Hospitalist to join our esteemed team at SCP Health. This role involves managing a substantial patient load within a well-equipped facility.

Facility Details
  • Total Hospital Beds: 672
  • Annual Patient Encounters: 57,000
  • Daily Patient Census: To be determined
Work Schedule

The position follows a 7 on 7 off schedule:

  • Day Shift: 7am - 7pm (comprising 12 physicians and 4 Advanced Practice Providers)
  • Swing Shift: 3pm - 11pm (1 physician)
  • Night Shift: 7pm - 7am (2 physicians and 2 Advanced Practice Providers)
Clinical Responsibilities
  • Manage an open ICU with intensivist support, focusing on medical management.
  • Procedural skills are not a requirement for this position.
  • While the Emergency Department primarily handles codes, the Hospitalist is expected to assist when available.
  • Foster collegial collaboration with the Emergency Department, which is also managed by SCP Health.
Technology Utilized

The electronic medical record system in use is EPIC.

Available Positions

  • Full-Time Swing Shift (3pm - 11pm)
