Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Program Coordinator to join our team at Children's National Medical Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating nursing care and services for patients and family members in specific healthcare specialty encounters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate nursing care and services for patients and family members in specific healthcare specialty encounters.
  • Consult with physicians and other healthcare providers to resolve health concerns.
  • Develop and implement plans to ensure continuity of care for patients and families.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients and families.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and wellness.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Required)
  • 5 years of nursing experience, with a minimum of 1 year of recent pediatric experience in a comparable setting (Required)
  • Minimum of 1 year of demonstrated nursing leadership experience (Required)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Nursing or related field
  • Experience in pediatric gastroenterology
  • Leadership experience in a healthcare setting
