Responsibilities
  • Oversee the custody and supervision of inmates in correctional facilities.
  • Participate in the rehabilitation and reentry of inmates through education, job training, and counseling.
  • Enforce rules and regulations in correctional facilities to maintain a safe and secure environment.
  • Collaborate with other correctional staff to ensure the effective operation of correctional facilities.
  • Provide support and guidance to inmates to help them achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be 19 years of age or older.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Must pass a background investigation and physical assessment.
  • Must complete a 10-week training program at the ADOC Training Center.
