Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary liaison for various audits and reviews throughout the fiscal year.
  • Support annual compliance efforts related to internal controls.
  • Prepare and evaluate entries for the month-end closing process as required.
  • Assist in the preparation of all necessary SEC documentation.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of audit workpapers prepared by staff.
  • Contribute to accounting tasks associated with acquisitions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain compliance with internal controls and assist with audits as necessary.
  • Create training materials for departmental functions to enhance cross-training and streamline task transitions.
  • Engage in other special projects as they arise.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required; CPA designation is highly preferred.
  • A minimum of four years of progressive accounting experience with relevant exposure.
  • Proven experience in managing a team of professionals is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with SOX compliance is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ownership of tasks and eagerness to learn new skills.
  • Career trajectory that reflects initiative and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience with consolidated financial statements in a publicly traded environment is preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
