About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team at Arbor Therapy. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality therapeutic services to children and adults with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Speech Language Pathologists in conducting client screenings and assessments, implementing treatment plans, and remediating or developing speech and language skills.
  • Collect and compile data to document clients' progress and assess program quality.
  • Manage a full-time caseload and develop strong working relationships with other disciplinary teams to ensure a positive client experience.
  • Collaborate with family members and provide parent education to increase therapy carryover to home.
  • Follow all HIPAA rules and regulations, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
  • Licensed as an SLPA through the Arizona Department of Health Services.
  • Experience in early intervention treating developmental delays/disabilities preferred.
  • Familiarity with all aspects of communication disorders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, positive and professional demeanor, and open to training and education in specific treatment areas.
