The Procurement Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the company's Ariba Purchase to Pay (P2P) system. This position involves collecting data and conducting analytics to assist the Procurement team effectively. The role encompasses two primary functions: Ariba Purchase to Pay (P2P) Specialist and collaboration with the Ariba team to enhance the P2P system.

Key Responsibilities of the Procurement Specialist:

  • Oversee user accounts and approval groups
  • Foster and maintain vendor relationships
  • Address Ariba inquiries and provide problem-solving support
  • Develop and update Punchout Catalogs, CIF catalogs, and Blanket Purchase Orders
  • Ensure seamless transaction processes within the Ariba system
  • Resolve issues related to invoice reconciliation, including discrepancies in quantity, pricing, amounts, and taxes
  • Gather and analyze data from the SAP ERP system
  • Create reports and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint
  • Assist with various ad hoc projects
  • Manage the Spend Analytics tool
Qualifications for the Procurement Specialist:
  • Proven experience in managing Ariba Purchase to Pay (P2P) systems and extracting data from ERP systems like SAP
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both internal stakeholders and external vendors
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • High attention to detail
  • Capable of troubleshooting and resolving issues effectively
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPS, IF Statements, and Pivot Tables
  • Competent in extracting and analyzing data from organizational systems
