Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Supply Chain Associate to join our fast-growing team. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, ensuring contract compliance, coordinating equipment delivery, and supporting the overall procurement process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the execution of contractual obligations for Matrix and our suppliers, ensuring compliance with agreed terms and IRA requirements.
  • Lead and coordinate pre/post-contract execution meetings to align expectations, drive objectives forward, and resolve any issues.
  • Support the review and negotiation of contracts to ensure favorable terms and conditions for the company.
  • Handle the coordination and regular review of equipment delivery schedules to ensure timely and accurate delivery of major equipment.
  • Manage change orders and ensure they are properly documented and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any deviations from agreed-upon standards or timelines.
  • Assist with creating and processing purchase orders to ensure accuracy and alignment with project requirements and budgets.
  • Manage invoice processing and approvals in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Accounting to resolve discrepancies related to invoices or payments.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to procurement activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain function.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a supply chain, procurement, or logistics role, preferably within the renewable energy sector.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite), analytics, and data visualization software.
  • Strong understanding of contract management, vendor relations, and procurement processes.
  • Sense of urgency to ensure timely and proactive management of supply chain activities and deliverables.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide strategic recommendations to drive project success and support organizational objectives.
