About the Role

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team at HORIZON HEALTH SERVICES. This is a full-time position that requires working in a fast-paced environment, interacting with patients seeking mental health and substance use treatment.

As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for welcoming patients to our clinic, creating an exceptional patient experience through every interaction, and supporting the day-to-day needs of our clinical and medical staff.

You will work closely with our team to ensure seamless operations and exceptional patient care, utilizing electronic platforms, including EHR systems and web-based applications.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Welcome patients to our clinic and create an exceptional patient experience through every interaction.\
  • Support the day-to-day needs of our clinical and medical staff, including managing appointments, assisting with medication refill requests, and preparing charts and record requests.\
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing industry standards and interacting with patients seeking mental health and substance use treatment.\
  • Utilize electronic platforms, including EHR systems and web-based applications, to streamline operations and improve patient care.\
  • Participate in training programs to develop your skills and knowledge, and advance your career.\
  • Collaborate with our diverse and inclusive team to achieve our mission and goals.\
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.\

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma with 2 years of experience within the customer service or behavioral health field.\
