Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Universal Banker Trainee to join our team at Midland States Bank. As a key member of our banking center, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and providing expert guidance on our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our banking products and services to effectively meet customer needs.
  • Provide accurate and timely customer service, including cash handling, deposit processing, and account maintenance.
  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities to grow customer relationships and increase revenue.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous sales and customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and transport coin and currency bags as required.
