Radiology Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Assistant to join our team at HonorVet Technologies. As a Radiology Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our medical imaging team by assisting with patient care, equipment maintenance, and daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with ambulation, turning, and repositioning, as well as call lights and equipment cleaning.
  • Distribute modality forms and brochures to patients regarding Radiology procedures.
  • Assist technologists in positioning patients on imaging tables using standard lifting and positioning techniques.
  • Maintain imaging rooms and immediate radiology areas in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.
Requirements:
  • Entry-level knowledge and basic employment skills.
  • No degree or high school diploma required.
Special Equipment:

Observes patients during transport and provides for their safety through basic knowledge of life support equipment such as oxygen tanks, IVAC's, and IV's.
