Job Summary:

Cayuse Shared Services is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing general radiology, portable, and fluoroscopic procedures, producing high-quality images, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Performs general radiology, portable, and fluoroscopic procedures, including GIs, GUs, pediatrics, arthrograms, and spine center exams.
Produces images of optimal quality for interpretation with accuracy and without delay.
Maintains documentation requirements to ensure timely and accurate entry of technical data.
Notifies management and takes proper action to address equipment malfunctions.
Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
Ensures patients' comfort and safety during and after the exam.
Assists with scheduling patient procedures and monitors patient priority.
Demonstrates care and operation of Radiology equipment according to technical specifications and applications.
Assists Radiologists with fluoroscopic, GU, GI, and pediatric procedures.
Acquires, archives, transmits, and prints images.
Reports immediately any malfunctions to the help desk and Administrator.
Processes billing and provides instruction and mentoring to new hires and Radiology students.

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
Must be a Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(R) (ARRT), in good standing.
Current state licensure required prior to employment.
(BLS) certification required.

Work Environment:

This role requires standing and walking for extended periods, lifting or assisting with lifting patients of varying weight, and manipulating equipment daily. Personal protective equipment is used as required.
