Shift: Days 5am-5pm on a 2-2-3 rotation, including every other weekend

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must possess a valid Class "A" CDL Driver License along with a tanker endorsement
  • Must maintain a clean driving record for the past three (3) years
  • Minimum of two (2) years of driving experience or completion of a truck driver training program
  • Basic skills in reading, writing, and mathematics
  • Fundamental computer proficiency
  • Familiarity with GMP's, sanitation standards, and FDA regulations is advantageous
Responsibilities:

The truck driver will be tasked with the transportation of bulk water and various products between our warehouses and vendors. Responsibilities may also include loading and unloading vehicles, as well as moving trailers on-site based on customer orders. Overtime may be required during peak times.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Conducts inspections of the vehicle before and after trips, taking corrective measures as necessary.
  • Communicates effectively with shipping personnel and shift supervisors regarding issues, product details, etc.
  • Transports goods as assigned between facilities and vendors as required.
  • Adheres to standard operating procedures, including quality checks and operational protocols.
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of the warehouse efficiently.

GMP & PPE Compliance Required

While on the production floor, adherence to all GMP regulations is mandatory. All personnel entering the production area must comply with the GMP guidelines outlined in the employee handbook, which includes wearing hairnets, beard nets, and earplugs. Additionally, safety glasses are required at all times. Compliance with standard operating procedures, including quality checks, is essential to meet food safety and quality objectives as well as the requirements of the SQF System.

Non-Essential Job Duties: May perform other related tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor.

In the absence of this employee, the direct manager or designated representative will assume responsibilities.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibrations. The employee may encounter wet and/or humid conditions, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme temperatures, and high places. There is a risk of electrical shock, and exposure to outside weather conditions may occur, along with noise levels that necessitate the use of hearing protection.
