Job Title: CDL Driver

At Premium Waters, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CDL Driver to join our team. As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for receiving incoming goods, preparing product for shipment, loading and unloading trucks, and shuttling trailers on property based on customer order.

Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and maintain trucks before and after trips, taking corrective action when needed.
  • Maintain accurate truck logs, adhering to state and federal regulations.
  • Unload trucks, examine and sign incoming goods, and note any discrepancies.
  • Review bills of lading to determine what is to be shipped.
  • Load trailers with forklift during slow trucking periods.
  • Clean and organize the warehouse in an efficient manner.
  • Communicate with shipping personnel and shift supervisors regarding problems, product information, and other issues.
  • Understand and perform proper pallet tag, lot number recording procedures.
  • Transport goods as assigned between PWI plant and customer when needed.
  • Follow standard operating procedures, including quality checks and procedures for all operations.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Class A CDL Driver License with tanker endorsement.
  • Clean three-year DMV print out.
  • Minimum of two years driving experience.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed.
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Some manufacturing experience with a beverage, food, or liquid consumer products manufacturer preferred but not required.
  • Prior knowledge of GMP's, sanitation standards, and FDA requirements is helpful.
Work Environment:

The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, and extreme heat. The employee is frequently exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; risk of electrical shock. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions; and a noise level requiring use of hearing protection.
