Your Role as a Security Guard - SIA Licensed Professional:

  • Prevent unauthorized access to premises.
  • Monitor security systems, including alarms and CCTV.
  • Conduct thorough security patrols both inside and outside the facility.
  • Manage traffic and enforce parking regulations.
  • Perform routine checks on security equipment.
  • Handle keys and execute locking and unlocking responsibilities.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records.
  • Assist staff, visitors, and contractors while ensuring the safety of the premises.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times.
  • Document and report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions.
  • Ensure emergency exits and pathways remain unobstructed.
  • Investigate fire alarm activations.
  • Identify areas for process improvement.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork promptly and conduct effective handovers.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Key Qualifications:

  • Working towards a valid SIA License.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Five-year verifiable employment history or documentation of any unemployment periods.
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Willingness to work shifts, including nights and weekends.
