Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at Union Bank. As a Teller I, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling financial transactions, and promoting bank products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide best-in-class customer experience through consistent and personalized interactions.
  • Transaction Processing: Handle various financial transactions, including check cashing, deposits, withdrawals, and payments.
  • Cash Handling: Count, prove, and package currency and coin, as well as redeem US Savings Bonds.
  • Sales and Referrals: Meet or exceed sales referrals targets by initiating conversations with customers to uncover their needs and effectively refer them to line of business partners.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Prior cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
  • Skills: Good interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, ability to follow directions and maintain confidentiality.
Working Conditions:
  • Work Environment: Stationed in a branch within the teller area 95% of working time.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, stoop, bend, twist, and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Estimated Salary:

$40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
