Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing and positioning patients for imaging procedures, selecting anatomic and technical parameters accurately, and monitoring protocols to ensure high-quality images.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
  • Select anatomic and technical parameters accurately
  • Monitor protocols to ensure high-quality images
  • Administer contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations
  • Observe patients during procedures and report abnormal activity
Requirements
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
  • The ability to stand for extended periods
  • Strong technical skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Passionate about patient care
  • Completion of a fully accredited Computed Tomography/Radiology program
  • Minimum three years Computed Tomography Technologist experience
  • One year of Epic experience

  • Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills
  • Participates in relevant continuing education programs
  • Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients
  • Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise
  • A can-do, team-oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital
  • Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks
