Job Description

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and experience in a nursing administration role. They will be responsible for supervising and coordinating unit staffing, ensuring the implementation of clinical objectives, and providing quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during assigned shifts.
  • Contribute to or perform performance evaluations of staff.
  • Assess daily patient care needs and develop and distribute patient care assignments.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care and identify any issues that affect desired patient outcomes.
  • Respond to complaints about patient care and manage through established channels.
  • May provide input for hiring, training, directing, development, and evaluating of staff.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date required.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date required.
  • Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job-specific experience required.
Additional Preferences
  • Previous RN leadership experience strongly preferred.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 per year, based on location and experience. Please note that actual compensation may vary based on individual qualifications and market conditions.
