Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Work alongside the development team to enhance and maintain the backend infrastructure of our React applications.
  • Architect, develop, and sustain efficient backend systems that meet the needs of the React application.
  • Create and implement RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless integration with frontend components.
  • Optimize backend systems for performance and scalability.
  • Produce clean, well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices.
  • Develop and conduct unit and integration tests to verify the reliability of backend functionalities.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure smooth integration of backend services with the React application.
  • Engage in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily standups.
  • Utilize modern collaboration tools such as Trello, Slack, GitHub, GitLab, Google Docs, etc.

Qualifications

  • Several years of professional experience as a backend engineer, particularly in web application development.
  • Expertise in building RESTful APIs using frameworks like Spring Java, [website], or Python.
  • Experience with various database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and proficiency in writing efficient SQL or NoSQL queries.
  • Understanding of frontend technologies like React and how they interact with backend systems.

  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development practices.
