Role Overview
The Customer Success Manager (CSM) serves as a vital link between Penn Foster and our valued clients. This role is essential in maximizing the value of our educational solutions and fostering strong relationships with our customers.
The CSM will actively engage with assigned accounts to promote product adoption, retention, and overall satisfaction. By understanding client needs and objectives, the CSM will develop tailored strategies that support their educational journeys.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and nurture relationships with assigned clients, focusing on onboarding, advocacy, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create a seamless customer journey and address any challenges that arise.
- Conduct regular meetings with clients to assess product usage and identify opportunities for additional services.
- Provide valuable insights to internal stakeholders to enhance product offerings and user experience.
- Develop proactive strategies for client engagement and education, ensuring clients are well-informed about our services.
- Work closely with sales and support teams to ensure a cohesive customer experience.
- Share best practices and insights with team members to improve overall service delivery.
- Monitor client metrics and performance to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge of the education and training industry.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in the information technology or education sector, with at least 8 years in a customer success or account management role.
- Familiarity with Penn Foster's educational products and services is preferred.
- Experience with customer relationship management tools.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with a track record of engaging with senior-level clients.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong focus on results and customer satisfaction.
- Willingness to adapt to client needs and travel as necessary.
