Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL-B Delivery Driver to join our team in Des Moines, IA. As a key member of our distribution team, you will be responsible for delivering complete, accurate, and on-time orders to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver orders via the most effective route to ensure complete orders are delivered according to established time frames and customers' needs
  • Prepare truck for operation by loading the product, securing items, and verifying the accuracy of shipping papers
  • Load and unload materials onto trucks, both at our warehouse and at customers' locations
  • Inspect truck tires, lights, brakes, fluids, etc. to ensure safe and cost-effective performance with preventive maintenance in mind
  • Maintain communication with our company during deliveries to ensure any updated instructions are received
  • Document delivery, accuracy, and receipt of orders by the customer according to our company directives and report any discrepancies
  • Work with other distribution team members to ensure complete, accurate, and on-time deliveries
  • Represent our company in a highly professional, safe, and cost-effective manner
Requirements
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and DOT Medical Examiners Certificate
  • Good driving record
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • A dedicated and reliable team player
