The ideal candidate will have a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and a good driving record. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and cost-effective driving record, as well as adhering to all DOT and other applicable regulations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Loading and unloading materials onto trucks, both at Richelieu and at customers' locations
  • Inspecting truck tires, lights, brakes, fluids, etc. to ensure safe and cost-effective performance with preventive maintenance in mind
  • Maintaining and monitoring truck maintenance and driving record requirements, and maintaining required documents for safety, security, and quality processes
  • Maintaining communication with company during deliveries to ensure any updated instructions are received
  • Documenting delivery, accuracy and receipt of orders by the customer according to company directives and reporting any discrepancies
  • Working with other distribution team members to ensure complete, accurate and on-time deliveries
  • Maintaining a satisfactory driving record and complying with all DOT and other applicable regulations
  • FOLLOWING COMPANY POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
