Firefighter Paramedic

We are seeking a highly skilled Firefighter Paramedic to join our team at the Town of Addison. As a Firefighter Paramedic, you will be responsible for responding to emergency incidents, providing medical care, and participating in fire suppression and rescue efforts.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to emergency alarms and calls for service, and perform fire suppression, rescue, and emergency medical duties as required.
- Establish safe medical treatment areas for patient assessment, treatment, and transportation.
- Participate in classes, drills, and training to maintain and upgrade current physical fitness, firefighting, rescue, and emergency medical skills.
- Inspect, clean, and maintain personal protective equipment, and verify that all emergency response equipment is in a proper state of readiness.
- Must possess TCFP Basic Firefighter and TDSHS Paramedic certification.
- Ability to establish and maintain harmonious relations with fellow employees, Town officials, and outside contractors.
- Safe driving record and clear criminal background check.
