5. Promote architectural principles and best practices to guarantee high-quality, consistent outcomes across teams.
6. Partner with engineering managers to ensure adherence to established architectural standards.
7. Create and maintain architectural diagrams and system documentation.
8. Mentor technical staff on advanced topics such as microservices, event processing, and high-volume data streaming.
9. Stay informed about emerging technologies and development methodologies to enhance our systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Over 10 years of hands-on experience in designing complex enterprise-level web applications, with a strong focus on microservices and secure systems.
- Proficiency in at least one major programming language, such as C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Extensive experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and its various services.
- Strong communication skills, particularly in conveying architectural concepts through diagrams.
