About the Role

You will be responsible for providing trauma-informed care, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective support for those with chronic mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to address clients' mental health concerns.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless coordination of care and optimize client outcomes.
  • Provide individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, focusing on trauma-focused treatment approaches.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, adhering to established protocols and regulations.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • At least 2 years of experience in mental health counseling, psychotherapy, or related social services, preferably in a public or certified private welfare agency.
  • Possession of a graduate-level license to practice psychology, social work, or counseling (LPC-Associate, LMSW, or LMFT-Associate) or the ability to obtain supervision until fully licensed.
  • Familiarity with DSM-5-TR diagnoses, particularly PTSD diagnosis and treatment, as well as certification or documented proficiency in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing within 6 months of employment.
