The Logistics Operations Supervisor serves as the primary representative of Quest Diagnostics to the Route Service Representatives (RSRs) and clients, embodying the company's values in all interactions. This role is essential in overseeing daily operational tasks within the hub, ensuring that the needs of staff and leadership are met concerning patient specimens and client services.

Compensation: Starting at $21.18 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide supervisory support, including scheduling, employee training, and external customer relations.

  • Direct daily activities of a core group of RSRs, coaching them to excel in their roles.

  • Facilitate process improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as a positive role model for RSR staff.
  • Assist in training as required.
  • Provide regular updates to supervisors on process improvement projects.

  • Communicate unresolved issues promptly to the appropriate management personnel.
  • Adhere to departmental policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

  • Demonstrate punctuality and reliability in attendance.
  • Conduct route audits and ensure compliance with all operational processes.
  • Safely operate company vehicles and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Prepare for routes with the necessary equipment and tools.

  • Meet all training requirements in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and care for company equipment, reporting any deficiencies.
  • Document client satisfaction feedback for management review.
  • Exhibit professionalism and a service-oriented approach with clients and RSR staff.

Qualifications:

Required Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in logistics or transportation.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience in a leadership or training role is preferred.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Capable of performing all duties of RSR roles.
  • Proficient in administrative and data-oriented tasks.
  • Flexibility to work based on staffing needs, including weekends and holidays.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to maintain focus for extended periods.
  • Capable of managing stress and handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge and Skills:
