Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Assembler to join our team at Minco Products, Inc. in Fridley, Minnesota. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling, welding, and inspecting high-quality products in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and weld products using precision techniques and equipment.
  • Inspect products for quality and accuracy, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Work collaboratively with other assemblers, manufacturing technicians, and production supervisors to achieve production goals.
  • Participate in our Continuous Improvement culture by suggesting ways to improve processes and increase efficiency.
  • Learn new skills and cross-train in other areas and product families to expand your knowledge and expertise.
  • Complete assigned paperwork and enter information into the computer accurately and efficiently.
  • Identify and report any quality issues or concerns to your lead, supervisor, or co-workers.
  • Use tools, materials, and equipment safely and effectively, following safety and operational principles and practices.
  • Train others on processes, equipment, and work instructions within your area.
  • Adapt to changes and use feedback for improvement.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Read, write, and speak English at an 8th grade level or higher.
  • Ability to pass an eye exam to meet Minco's requirements for Near and Color Vision.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience in welding, fine wire assembly, and lamination.
  • Experience with potting chemicals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Continuous Improvement training or experience.
  • Machine maintenance experience.
  • J-Standard Certified.

  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with employees and management.
  • Strong experience responding to and resolving questions and concerns.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and multi-cultural environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills for internal and external customer contact.
