Job Summary:

The Horizontal Load Case Packer will be responsible for operating and maintaining packaging equipment, ensuring high-quality products, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain packaging equipment, including the CIL Douglas and Wexxar machines
  • Monitor and control the Spiral Freezer and 3M Taper
  • Palletize product and complete all required documentation
  • Verify product quality, dated codes, weight distribution, seal integrity, label verification, and case quality
  • Follow all required safe work practices and maintain a safe working environment
Requirements:
  • Detail-oriented and organized with good communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of equipment care and maintenance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with extremes of hot and cold temperatures
