Job Summary

Virtua Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team as a CT Scan Technologist. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scan examinations in accordance with established protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Consistently perform high-quality CT scan studies for our patient populations according to protocols established by the radiologist.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge and utilization of all CT scan equipment and film, taking appropriate actions when service calls are required.
  • Provide safe and effective IV contrast administration, including IV catheter insertion, and prep patients according to established protocols.
  • Assist physicians during interventional CT scan procedures and provide emergency on-call services where indicated.
  • Provide instruction to and assist in any training of new CT scan technologists.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year in CT preferred.
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Certification with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and N.J. DEP licensure required.
  • Advanced level ARRT certification in CT scan technology preferred.
  • CPR certification preferred.
