We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Inpatient Unit team at Baptist Health. As a Registered Nurse on this unit, you will be responsible for providing direct comprehensive nursing care to patients from admission to discharge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers
  • Function as an on-shift team member to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor and report patient progress to ensure optimal outcomes
About the Unit

The Surgical Inpatient Services unit is a 32-bed unit specializing in inpatient care for post-surgical patients. Our team works with a variety of surgical patients, including total joint replacements, bariatric surgeries, and higher acuity cases such as post-surgical vascular and thoracic patients.

We also accept post-operative admissions originating from areas such as the emergency room or a physician's office. Our unit is a great opportunity for new graduate LPNs and RNs who want exposure to a wide variety of patients.

Requirements
  • Current Indiana or compact state RN license
  • BLS for Healthcare provider required
