We are seeking a skilled Operations Planner II to join our team at Jabil. As a key member of our planning team, you will be responsible for developing and executing operational plans that meet customer demands and minimize Jabil's liability.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with business units and customers to develop a demand plan through the Demand Management Process
- Create a master schedule through resource analysis, including material sizing and capacity sizing
- Load the master schedule into the Jabil ERP system
- Develop and maintain a feasible production plan, working closely with the operations team to achieve successful execution
- Develop revenue forecasts and monitor actual performance, driving corrective action and recovery plans as needed
- Monitor planning metrics and drive continuous improvement
- Comply with company security policies and procedures
- Thorough knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
- 1-2 years of materials-related experience
- Advanced PC skills, including knowledge of Jabil's software packages
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak effectively before groups
Bachelor's degree + 2 years of experience, or Master's degree without experience. Equivalent combinations of education, training, or experience are also acceptable.
