Position Overview: The Clinical Nursing Supervisor is a registered nurse with proven expertise in psychiatric nursing, leadership, and management. This role is pivotal in fostering an environment that promotes quality outcomes, efficient resource utilization, and retention of skilled staff. Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the management and development of human and fiscal resources, including FTEs and budgets.
- Implementing quality control and improvement measures while ensuring client, family, staff, and provider satisfaction.
- Ensuring compliance with Title 9 regulations and state/local standards through oversight, auditing, and training.
- Providing quality assurance for infection control and managing staffing adjustments for cost-effective care.
- Leading the creation of client-centered, evidence-based care delivery systems and monitoring clinical practices for effectiveness.
- Establishing clinical learning opportunities, implementing orientation programs, and promoting continuous staff education.
- Analyzing clinical indicators, enhancing quality monitoring, and driving improvements in care practices.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) degree from an accredited nursing school.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse in long-term care, med/surg, inpatient psychiatry, or a similar setting.
- Bilingual skills are preferred.
- CPI Certification will be provided by the facility within the first 90 days of employment.
