Human Resources Business Partner

At Verano, we are committed to creating a positive and professional HR experience for our field employees and management. As a Human Resources Manager, you will be the point person for any HR-related topics and will be responsible for facilitating critical generalist HR functions within our cultivation facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with recruitment and interview process: Assist with recruitment and interview process to find top talent for Verano.
- Conduct employee onboarding: Conduct employee onboarding, including submitting new and renewal badge applications to the State.
- Guide employees with new benefits enrollment: Guide employees with new benefits enrollment and provide a positive and professional HR experience.
- Conduct investigations as assigned: Conduct investigations as assigned and serve as a point of contact for locations with any questions on time clocks, payroll, or benefits.
- Visit and support personnel at locations across the region: Visit and support personnel at locations across the region and maintain up-to-date knowledge on FMLA and COBRA guidelines and requirements.
- Process paperwork for new hires, terminations, and other status changes: Process paperwork for new hires, terminations, and other status changes and respond to requests in a timely manner.

Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required: A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required. 5 years of human resources experience is also required, as well as HRIS experience.

- Must be 21 years of age or older: Must be 21 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources management or relevant field preferred: A Bachelor's degree in human resources management or relevant field is preferred. 6 years of human resources experience is also preferred.

- Previous experience in the manufacturing industry preferred: Previous experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.

- HIPPA experience preferred: HIPPA experience is preferred.
