Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Graduate Nurse to join our team at Riverview Health. As a Graduate Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the nursing care team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver competent and compassionate nursing care to assigned patients under the guidance of a preceptor.
  • Assess patient care needs, establish priorities, and delegate tasks to ancillary support staff as appropriate.
  • Ensure patient information documentation and assessments are completed in a timely manner according to charting guidelines.
  • Communicate clinical concerns in a timely manner to other members of the healthcare team, seeking assistance as needed.
  • Administer and assist with treatments ordered by physician and triage patients and obtain vital signs.
  • Provide patient care in the provision of routine hygienic, nutritional, and comfort needs of patients.
Requirements
  • Recent graduate from an accredited nursing program, eligible to sit for NCLEX exam.
  • Basic Life Safety (American Heart Association) certification.
