Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
As the HVAC Operations Manager, you will:
  • Lead and manage the HVAC service and maintenance team to guarantee high-quality service delivery.
  • Field and coordinate service requests efficiently.
  • Develop and manage service and maintenance schedules.
  • Procure and monitor materials necessary for quoted projects and scheduled maintenance.
  • Review, adjust, and price service reports accurately.
  • Approve weekly time cards for the service team.
  • Prepare detailed quotations for suggested work.
  • Draft new or renewal maintenance agreements.
  • Maintain clear communication with customers and project managers, providing timely updates.
  • Evaluate technicians' work to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
  • Organize training sessions and ongoing support for installation teams.
  • Offer technical assistance to HVAC technicians as needed.
  • Ensure that technician licenses and certifications are current and renewed.
  • Adhere to the Occupational Health and Safety Act regulations.
  • Comply with service standards, work instructions, and customer requirements.
  • Perform additional tasks as necessary to ensure the smooth operation of the department.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the HVAC market for both residential and commercial sectors.
  • A minimum of 3 years of training in HVAC, with a commitment to further education in the field.
  • Previous experience as an in-field technician is highly advantageous.
  • A solid understanding of advanced concepts in air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating.
  • Self-motivation and reliability.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in interpreting schematics and work plans.
  • The ability to respond to after-hours calls when necessary.

This is a salaried position with a competitive pay range based on experience, along with the potential for performance-based bonuses.
