Medical Instrumentation Specialist - (Field Service)

The Opportunity:This position offers remote work flexibility with occasional travel up to 50%. Qualified candidates must reside in the Providence, RI area.
Key Responsibilities:- Represent Abbott Diagnostic Division to its customers by providing on-site support for complex medical instruments.
- Act as a trusted partner to existing customers, delivering exceptional service and expertise.
- Support business objectives and goals, driving success through technical expertise.
- Develop mentoring skills to guide other field service representatives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer complaints regarding medical instruments.
- Schedule and complete routine preventive maintenance installations and updates provided by Abbott.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience required.
- Must be able to travel up to 50%.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Medical Technology preferred.
- Practical experience in customer interfacing and troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and interpersonal skills.
$38.25 - $73.15 per hour, with pay ranges varying in specific locations.
