Join Our Team as a Certified Surgical Tech PRN

We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Tech PRN to join our team at North Springs Surgery Center, a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center managed by HCA Healthcare's Surgery Ventures Group.

About the Role

As a Certified Surgical Tech PRN, you will assist with the provision of safe and effective nursing care in the operating room under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Direct patient care and observation
  • Scrubbing and assisting the surgeon at the operative field
  • Surgical room turnover between cases
  • Collection and recording of pertinent clinical data in the medical record
  • Collaboration with the Registered Nurse in clinical decision making

You will also be responsible for preparing the operative suite for surgery, checking and gathering supplies, equipment, and instruments, and disposing of trash and linens.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program (preferred)
  • One year experience in an operating room setting (preferably in an ambulatory surgery center)
  • Surgical Tech Certification
  • State of Colorado Surgical Tech Registration required
  • Valid BCLS Certification upon employment
