Integrated Grid and Energy Systems Applications Lead

Job Summary:

The Integrated Grid and Energy Systems Applications team at EPRI is seeking a technical lead to enhance and grow our capabilities in delivering high-value, cutting-edge projects for our utility members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop new business opportunities and oversee project execution and closeout
  • Supervise a small team of applications engineers
  • Collaborate with utility members to discuss their needs and define solutions
  • Lead key, cross-cutting projects across and adjacent to EPRI's Integrated Grid domain expertise
  • Provide internal leadership and occasional training within the Institute in areas of technical knowledge and non-technical topics
Requirements:
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to partner with clients and internal teams
  • Personnel development and a strong interest in professional development for technical staff
  • Business acumen and understanding of basic business concepts
  • Broad technical understanding of the power system and ability to engage technical SMEs
Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience required. Masters or PhD in technical field preferred. Previous experience leading or managing a team and 8-12 years of professional experience.
