Position Title: Patient Care Technician
  • Contract Duration: 3+ months
  • Compensation: Up to $30/hr - $32/hr

Role Responsibilities:
  • Deliver direct patient care for assigned individuals under the supervision of a licensed nursing professional.
  • Ensure precise documentation of all information related to patient treatment.
  • Assist licensed nurses with pre and post-dialysis assessments and their corresponding documentation.
  • Monitor and record dialysis treatment parameters on Dialysis Flow Sheets.
  • Communicate any significant changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse.
  • Support all emergency operational protocols.
  • Initiate basic CPR measures in case of cardiac or pulmonary emergencies and respond to dialysis-related emergency situations.

Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in patient care within a hospital or similar environment is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Completion of a training program in the theory and practice of hemodialysis is required.
  • Current CPR Certification is necessary.

Educational Requirements:
  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Background in physical sciences or training in laboratory techniques is preferred.

  • Hours: 40 hours weekly
