Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute technical roadmaps for key growth areas, working closely with architects and tech leads to define and implement technology strategies.
  • Manage a global team of engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure their success and growth.
  • Collaborate with other functional leaders to build and accelerate roadmaps, driving operational and engineering excellence across the organization.
  • Proactively monitor, identify, and resolve customer issues, ensuring high-quality solutions and exceptional customer experience.
Requirements
  • Experience in data development, platform building, and distributed systems.
  • Strong senior-level engineering leadership expertise in medium to large-sized companies.
  • Proven experience in hiring and mentoring world-class engineering teams.
  • Leading large-scale systems in fast-paced environments, with startup experience a plus.
  • Expertise in multiple distributed technologies, such as Spark/Storm, Kafka, and Microservices.
  • Experience in one or more public cloud technologies, like GCP or Azure.
  • Experience working in large teams using CI/CD and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, with 15+ years of industry experience.
