Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify patient information, reconcile medication lists, and confirm the purpose of visit.
  • Prepare patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests and securing patient information.
  • Triages phone messages, reviews messages with physicians, and responds as directed.
  • Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures.
  • Keeps exam rooms clean and patient ready, and keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program and certification.
  • CPR certification (or completed within 4 months of hiring).
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology and excellent computer, telephone, and communication skills.
  • Ability to bend, reach, lift, pull, push, and/or carry up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Working Hours: Varies, Monday-Friday 7 a.m.-7 p.m., working 4 days/week.
