CT Imaging Specialist - Diagnostic RadiographyAbout the Role

At Intermountain Health, we're seeking an experienced CT Imaging Specialist to join our team of skilled professionals. As a CT Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of CT procedures using ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure proper patient identification, order verification, and prepares the patient for the exam.
  • Perform exams per department protocol.
  • Understand cross-sectional anatomy and demonstrates anatomical positioning competency.
  • Familiar with the ALARA program and follows proper radiation safety protocol.
  • Demonstrate ability to critique own films.
  • Complete studies within acceptable time limitations per department expectations without compromising patient care or the quality of the examination.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of protocol relating to contrast administration.
  • Administer oral barium products or intravenous contrast material to patients as ordered by the physician and under radiologist or physician supervision.
  • Practice appropriate infection control and sterile techniques.
  • Provide appropriate patient education and ensures patient comfort.
  • Operate CT equipment and related information systems to ensure that quality images are produced.
Requirements
  • Radiography Certification/Registration (ARRT)
  • Relevant State licensure (where required)
  • Demonstrated CT proficiency
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (healthcare)
Preferred Qualifications
  • CT Certification/Registration (ARRT)
  • 1+ year(s) CT experience
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $34.06 - $52.55 per hour, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and a generous paid time off policy.

Location

This position will be based in Orem, Utah and will require occasional travel to nearby locations.
