Job Title: Container Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Container Logistics Coordinator to join our team at The Wonderful Company. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of container movements, ensuring a seamless and efficient supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement container planning processes to optimize supply and demand
  • Monitor and analyze container stock levels, identifying deficits and surpluses, and implementing corrective actions
  • Track container dwell times, identifying long-stays and deviations to container turn-times, and implementing corrective actions
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of container movements in tracking systems
  • Coordinate the repositioning of equipment between locations as needed
  • Manage the off-hiring process for equipment
  • Process equipment-related purchase orders and invoices in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements:
  • Experience in a container shipping role
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and ability to prioritize multiple deadlines
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and planning abilities with a process-driven mindset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear, effective interactions with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with advanced Excel skills
  • Quick learner with ability to adapt to new systems and processes
  • Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment, maintaining high level of productivity
  • Proactive team player with positive, customer-focused attitude
