Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Automotive Acquisition Specialist to join our team at Team Gillman. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for acquiring and procuring high-quality used vehicles to meet the demands of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set appointments and coordinate with Used Car managers to acquire and procure used vehicles.
  • Follow the Team Gillman process and procedures for responding to all incoming internet leads, phone calls, and text messages.
  • Manage task lists to ensure follow-up process is being executed on a daily basis.
  • Update KBB ICO data for executive management on Google Docs on a daily basis.
  • Actively search for opportunities on 3rd party sites, including Offer Up, Local Listings, Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, Autotrader, CarGurus, and private sellers listings.
  • Follow up on trades from the dealership and coordinate vehicle purchases/pickups with sellers and management.
  • Learn, understand, and adhere to call and email scripts.
  • Participate in department meetings and training to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve department and store goals.
  • Meet with the manager to discuss objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analysis.
  • Be available to work on Saturdays as needed.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license.
  • Self-motivated and organized with a strong work ethic.
  • Customer service experience a plus, with a willingness to learn and grow with the company.
  • Highly proficient in computer skills and navigating multiple internet sites, including social media.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional, ethical, and respectful attitude.
  • Ability to respond to all personality types with professionalism.
